The module is designed for storage under pressure and release of gas fire extinguishing substance (GFES) into the protected premise and is used for fire protection of premises and technological equipment, including those under voltage up to 10 kV.
Applied gas - liquefied carbon dioxide (CO2) according to GOST 8050 of the highest or first quality category.
The cylinder can be used as part of centralized installations (batteries) and modular installations of 3D and local fire extinguishing.
Installation position - vertical. Cylinders are available in capacity from 2 to 100 liters.
The cylinder is equipped with a locking-starting device (LSD).
The type of locking-starting device determines the way of starting the module:
1) electric and manual;
2) pneumatic (as part of the battery).
The starting pulse of the module with electric and manual starting shall comply with the following characteristics:
Voltage: 22 - 26 V
Current: 0.7 - 0.9 A
Supply time: at least 0.5 sec
Manual start force from 3 to 10 kg.
Pressure gauge type - general technical/electrical contact
Climatic configuration - “УХЛ”, placement category - “4” according to GOST 15150.
Operating temperature from -20°С to +55°С.
The degree of protection of electrical equipment against external influences (moisture and dust) according to GOST 14254: IP 33 or IP 54.
Seismic resistance of the modules corresponds to 8 points on the MSK-64 scale, at a height of +30 m.
Work resource before overhaul - at least 10 triggerings.
Service life - 30 years with a warranty period of 9 years.
Weight control device (WCD) is used to control GFES leakage.
WCD comprises weight controller MAK-2001-13-13.77 and a set of weight platforms MAK-2001-09-09.25-d250/d360 (from 1 to 32 pcs. per 1 controller). Weight platforms (WP) are connected in series with the cable (the entry to the previous platform is the exit for the next one). Before connecting the platforms, each WP needs to set its address in the range from 2 to 32 (by default, address 1).
After assembling the electrical circuit (Fig.1) the following parameters are set for everyWPwith the help of weight controller (WC):
- number of connected WPs;
- display delay time when scrolling through current information for a given number of WPs (5 sec by default);
- weight of the module with GFES;
- weight of GFES;
- the value of the maximum leak at which a signal is issued (default 5%).
After connecting and adjusting WCD on WC, the display mode of the current parameters of MGP is set. In this mode, WCdisplays the values of MGP parameters shown in Figure 2

The nominal values of the amount of GFES in the modules that are part of the battery shall be the same.
Operation instructions
The recharged module shall be placed at least 1 meter away from radiators and other heating appliances, and from furnaces and other heat sources with an open flame at distance of at least 10 meters, and in places where the temperature does not exceed 55°С.
The module shall be rigidly fixed with clamps to fixed building structures providing free access to them for operation and maintenance.
LSD design provides the ability to replace the pressure gauge and pressure switch.
The frequency of calibration of the pressure gauge - once a year.
Frequency of the cylinder inspection – every 10 years.
Check integrity of the electric circuit of electromagnet at current of not more than 0.1 A.
